Copilot Workspace: An Agentic Dev Environment for Tech Startups
GitHub Copilot Workspace is a new agentic development environment that uses AI to assist developers in completing tasks. It allows users to describe tasks in natural language, generating a plan and implementing code changes, all within a steerable workflow. The system, powered by GPT-4o, enables collaboration and iteration through shared workspaces and easy PR creation. Access requires a paid Copilot subscription, and integration with existing tools like Codespaces and Raycast is supported. Finally, Copilot Workspace distinguishes itself from other Copilot features by its task-oriented approach and ability to manage multi-file changes.
